TIFR Center for Applicable Mathematics, Bangalore, one of the units of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, a Deemed University under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. Of India, invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following positions on temporary basis initially for a period of six months and likely to be extended depending on performance for a period of another six months.

2 Temporary Tradesman B (Electrical )

  1. SSC or its Equivalent
  2. ITI (60% marks) in Electrical Trade awarded by NCVT or SCVT with minimum of two years experience in the area of Electrical / Electronics in a large / reputed organization
    OR 
    ITI ie. National Trade Certificate in Electrical Trade (60% marks) awarded by NVCT and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) with a minimum of one year of experience in the area of of Electrical / Electronics in a large / reputed organization
    OR

    National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) (60% marks) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) with a minimum of one year experience in the area of Electrical and Electronics in a large / reputed organization.

 Diploma in Electrical / Electronics

Maximum Age Limit : Below 28 years as on 01st January 2016. Relaxations of upper age limit will considered for SC/ST/OBC candidates and persons with disability. Relaxation in experience will be considered for deserving candidates depending on the number of applications received. Candidates who apply with higher qualification for the position of Temporary Clerk A will be considered.

Consolidated Pay : Rs.19500 per month (including HRA of Rs.2200).

Application form printed after submitting the data is required to be signed and sent along with photocopies of Certificates in support of Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Experience and Community (wherever applicable) to following address duly superscribing on the cover "Application for the post of __________ " so as to reach on or before 12th October 2015

Incomplete applications, applications without photo copies of the certificates and applications received after last date shall not be considered. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. Mere fulfilling the essential and desirable qualifications will not entitle an applicant to be called for interview. The Centre reserves the right to increase or decrease the vacancies. The Centre also reserves the right not to fill the post herein advertised. Canvassing of any form will disqualify the candidate.
