The Centre for Applicable Mathematics (CAM) is a premier research centre for mathematics and is part of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. Research at CAM is focused on mathematical analysis, theoretical and computational analysis of PDEs and their applications, and probability theory, complex analysis and related areas. CAM runs graduate student programmes that lead to a PhD in mathematics. There are several opportunities to visit and work at CAM (postdoctoral fellowships, short term visiting positions, summer programmes, etc). Members of CAM are actively engaged in outreach activities as well — ranging from working with gifted high school students to training researchers in the latest advancements at the frontiers of their disciplines.
