Abstract: In this talk, first we provide some motivations to study Differential Algebraic Equations (DAEs). Then, various controllability concepts for DAEs have been investigated. The reachable controllability of DAEs which has been less regarded in the literature has been discussed and it has been related to the controllability of a state space system (system governed by Ordinary Differential Equations (ODEs)) under some mild assumption.
