Abstract: We will discuss some known results pertaining to regularity theory of variational free transmission problems of Bernoulli type. We point out the key ingredients that allow the improvement of known regularity results. If time permits, we will discuss some of our recent results related to the touching geometry between free and fixed boundaries for problems within this context.
