Abstract: In this talk I will briefly discuss three problems of nonlinear analysis, which are the works of my PhD thesis. Firstly, I will speak about the domain invariance property of the  best constant of a generalization of Hardy's Inequality. Then, we will discuss the approximate controllability of the FitzHugh-Nagumo system (a biological model related to cardiac excitation). At the end, we will focus on the backward uniqueness property of linearized compressible Navier-Stokes system in one space dimension.
