Abstract: I will begin this talk by introducing Steklov eigenvalue problem and some basic results related to its spectrum. Then I will describe that for a closed Riemannian manifold (M, g) it is possible to construct a compact Riemannian manifold, with boundary isometric to M, which has very large Steklov eigenvalues. Finally, we will see that in case of a cylinder, under certain assumption on the metric, it is possible to find bounds for Steklov eigenvalues.
