Abstract: I would discuss topics related to nonlinear p-fine spectral theory of the p-Laplacian and existence of minimizers for shape-optimization problems, particularly for spectral functionals on p-quasi-open sets. A major part of it relies on a variational characterization of the second eigenvalue of the p-Laplacian. This is a joint-work with Nicola Fusco and Yi Zhang.
