Abstract: Affine Sobolev inequality is a refinement of the usual Sobolev inequality \(\nabla u\|_p \ge \|u\|_{p^\ast}\)that possesses additional group of invariance, namely the SL(N).We give some new representations of the inequality for the case p=2,discuss the related variational equations and compactness properties of the embedding.
