Abstract: In this talk, I will present some results related to fractional order Sobolev spaces on the Euclidean space and the Heisenberg group. Also, I will describe some non-local Hardy type inequalities and study their extremals. At the end of the talk, I will present a result, analogous to the Trudinger-Moser inequality in the usual Sobolev spaces.
