Abstract: In this talk, I will consider various PDE models of heterogeneous media and describe the homogenization issues connected with them. Models are chosen from diverse areas : Wave Propagation, Fluid Flows, Inverse Diffusivity Problem, and Optimal Shape/Design Problem. I will describe each of these problems and present the results obtained.
