Title: Harnack estimate for non-homogeneous parabolic equations
SEMINAR TALK
Abstract: In this talk, we discuss a scale invariant Harnack inequality for some non-homogeneous parabolic equations in a suitable intrinsic geometry dictated by the nonlinearity, which, in particular, implies the H\"older continuity. We also discuss a Harnack type estimate on a global scale which quantifies the strong minimum principle.

Speaker Bio: Vedansh Arya has been a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Jyväskylä, Jyväskylä, Finland, since 2022. He completed his Ph.D. in Mathematics at the TIFR Centre for Applicable Mathematics, Bangalore, India, in 2022. His research interests include regularity theory for elliptic and parabolic PDEs, unique continuation problems, free boundary problems, and mean curvature flow.
