Abstract: In this talk, we consider the logotropic system of gasdynamics with a Coulomb-type friction to study the interaction of elementary waves. We discuss the elementary waves and their properties in the phase plane to describe the exact Riemann solution. Further, we discuss all possible cases of the elementary wave interactions between same and different families of waves in the phase plane using the solution of the Riemann problem.
