Abstract: The aim of the mini-course is to introduce Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces and to describe their basis properties.

1) Besov snd Triebel-Lizorkin space: motivation, definition, basic properties, equivalent characterizations (e.g. heat semi-groups characterization)

2) Operators acting on the spaces: embeddings, traces, multipliers, pseudo-differential operators, interpolation.

3) Decompositions of the spaces and theirs usefulness: atomic decompositions, wavelets. "
