Title: Application of Ishii-Lions method in establishing regularity of solutions

Abstract: In a seminal 1990 work, Ishii and Lions introduced a novel technique based on the doubling of variable method to establish Hölder and Lipschitz regularity of solutions to a certain class of non-degenerate elliptic equations. More recently, a similar idea was employed by Barles et al. to obtain Lipschitz regularity for solutions to a class of nonlocal equations with gradient nonlinearity. In the first part of this talk, we will discuss the method developed by Ishii and Lions, followed by its extension to nonlocal operators. In the second part, we will adapt and refine this technique to prove Lipschitz regularity for the fractional p-Laplace equation.
